So far, the boy hasn't had any homework. It's only the first week of school, and it is Kindergarten after all. We have explained the concept to him though. It will be interesting to see whether he understands today's doodle joke.

Sssssssoooooo Sssssstudiousssssss
Day 2 of Kindergarten. The boy decided to pack lunch today since he's a weirdo and doesn't like pizza. Seriously, how many kids do you know that don't like pizza? With as much pizza and bagel bites as I ate while I was pregnant with him, you'd think that stuff would be pumping through his blood.
Anyway, since pizza was today's lunch, the boy passed and I packed instead. So, the doodle is actually with his lunch today instead of tucked into his snack. And it's deliciousssssssss.

Back by Popular Demand!
Apologies in advance for the length of this post, but I'm having an emotional morning. Kindergarten. It's here already. My little boy is truly a big kid. He's been going to preschool for two years, but it was still so hard watching him walk into school without me this morning. He, of course, did fine and was showing his Yo-Kai Watch backpack to anyone who would look.
Big kid also decided he didn't want me to pack a lunch today. He's buying lunch. I sent him with lunch money. I'm convinced he will forget about it and be forced to get by on the apple and granola bar I sent in for snack.
That's how the doodle made it to school with him today, by the way. Since he didn't want a lunch, it's tucked into the bag with his snack. It totally still counts.
Since it's back to school week, I'm going with a school theme for the jokes. I wanted to make them all about kindergarten in particular, but couldn't think of any good jokes that didn't involve gardening and were therefore very unfunny.

Welcome back to Mama Doodles. Looking forward to forcing bad puns on you for the rest of the school year!
