Rockin'

There's a little girl at school who has been trying all week to get me to make this joke a doodle. I promised her yesterday that I would send it as the joke today. It took me a few times to realize she was saying 'chair' and not 'cheer.' I was picturing pompoms and short skirts.

Science

On the eve of the big Science March in DC, my little fledgling scientist has decided to enter a project in his school's science fair. Cue memories of middle school and display boards now.

Since we're so focused on science at the moment, I felt like today's joke was a great fit.

Now we're off to do some science! Maybe I should bring an umbrella...

Let the countdown to Summer vacation begin, am I right? Spring Break, you beautiful beast, you're just long enough to make us forget what 6:00 am looks like. I wasn't really happy to see it again this morning.

Our first doodle now that we're back in school is out of this world. Not really. It's punnyness is the same as all my other jokes. I just can't resist puns, even in my blog.

Let's not talk about how frightening my Starbucks lady is, ok. She's close enough to the real thing to get the job done. Probably. 

Even bunnies need sleep

The Easter Bunny works hard. With his diet of IHOP and egg rolls, he has to enter a carb coma at some point. Today's doodle embraces that inevitable crash.

This bunny likes to eat

Apparently, all of my Easter Bunny jokes involve food. Today's joke came from one of the first graders yesterday. When I asked where the bunny goes to eat, she thought I asked what he ate. This was her answer, and I loved it, so I made it into today's doodle.

Pretty good, right? I think she has it in her to become a pun master. 

Pancakes

Anyone who knows me well knows how much I love pancakes. Apparently, me and the Easter Bunny would get along swell.

If I had a stack on pancakes that big, I'm pretty sure I'd be wearing a goofy grin too.

We've got a short week of school this week. Friday off because it's the first day of our Spring Break. What does that mean? Easter jokes all week this week since we'll be taking a break from doodles until after Easter.

Did anyone else ever feel guilty about eating these little guys? I totally did. As a result, I never buy them. Eating a bunny just feels so wrong.
