I'm posting this later than normal, so I know how today's joke was received by the masses during lunch. I think it's been the week's favorite joke so far.

Favorite Day!

It's picture day for the boy today. While everyone else in the neighborhood put on their best, my son wore gym shorts and a Minecraft tee. At least he let me comb his hair.

I know it's not Friday, but I didn't feel like sitting on this joke for two days. Full disclosure: by Friday I would have forgotten all about it.

Mini

We had a pop quiz at breakfast this morning to make sure the boy knows the name of Mickey Mouse's girlfriend. Otherwise, today's joke wouldn't have worked.

Shouldn't There Be Two?

There's something about today's doodle that I adore. I'm not quite sure what it is exactly, but I really love this sketch. The joke is okay, and I discovered a lot of kids don't know this is an actual type of bird, but I really love the drawing.

Yes, he doesn't have arms and is a little mutant weirdo, but he's mine. And I love him.

Brass Bone

I'm not sure the boy knows the name to many instruments outside of drum, guitar, and trumpet. Today's joke will test how much attention he actually pays in music class every week.

Quick Fix

The way the joke book had this worded was so ridiculous, I had to change it. What kid wants to hear a joke that refers to ducks as water fowl? Pretty sure an explanation would be in order for that one.

Hopefully it's a bit more straight forward now.

What's That Smell?

The ginormous book of jokes seems to be running out of steam. As I page through, it's getting harder to find ones the boy will understand, let alone laugh at. I may have to consult the almighty internet in the future.
