Days 32, 33, and 34

Oof. Falling behind again. That means you get three jokes today!

Thursday: The boy seems to understand the skeleton jokes best.

This one took a bit of explaining, but only as far as reminding the boy that pork and lamb chops exist.

Today's joke needed no explanation :)

My vampire looks like a baby wearing a bib. Maybe it's a really juicy orange.

Day 31

Our morning was all out of sorts today. Everything was done out of order. The doodle wasn't drawn until minutes before lunch, but I still made it in time!

Bonus: the boy loved the joke and was so proud that he understood this one. <3

Days 28, 29, and 30!

Good grief. I really fell behind this time!

The boy didn't understand Friday's joke at first.

I had to explain what bone china is.

I didn't mean to do two skeleton jokes in a row, but a weekend has a tendency to make me forgetful. At least this joke took no explanation.

Today's joke went over his head too. I know his class has discussed idioms, so I thought he would know this one since it's used regularly.

At least I got a sweet little werewolf out of the deal.

Day 27

Thursdays I actually go into the office. I leave right before the boy's lunch break ends. As a result, today's joke was read about 10 minutes ago.

Day 26

Wednesdays are always strange for us now because there's virtual learning in the morning, but after they break for lunch, that's it. Asynchronous learning for the afternoon. To the boy, that means every Wednesday is a half day. He's been out of school since 11:30. Ask me if his math homework is done yet...

At least I can still give him cute jokes.

Days 24 and 25

Since we've entered the month of October, I'm going to take a stab at giving the boy a Halloween-y joke every day.

My blood hound ended up with a thick neck, but at least he looks happy about it.

This devilled egg is just the cutest. The boy has literally never eaten one, but still liked the joke.

Days 22 and 23

Something I learned today: it's impossible for me to draw a cute, hairy coconut. The sneeze didn't help.

Today's joke is a tribute to the boy's music teacher. She gave them a riddle at the beginning of class yesterday about the most musical bone. TROM-bone! When I saw this joke this morning, I new it had to go in today's lunch.
