An oldie but a goodie

There was a meme floating about Facebook yesterday that gave me the inspiration for today's doodle. It was an illustrated version of a classic kid's joke.

I forgot to ask the boy whether he liked the joke today or not. Almost forgot to post entirely, if I'm being honest. We've had a busy evening filled with writing and illustrating a new story of Oskar's, making crescent rolls, decorating a cardboard box to look like a car, coloring, punching out shapes and gluing them to paper... I feel like there have been more hours in this day than usual. The boy was in a very creative mood and we just went with it. I'll have to ask him if he remembers the joke tomorrow.
