Another Week of Jokes

 We had another four day week since it was the end of our marking period. That means we're a joke short.

Day 89: Monday January 25:

The boy really liked this one. I think it's just because he thinks butts are so funny.

Proud of the boy because he asked me what a gnu was, but pronounced the word correctly!

So long, Marking Period 2. We're officially halfway through fourth grade. How is it possible for a year to go by so slowly and quickly at the same time?

 At some point, I fell so far behind, that I decided to wait until the end of the week and post all the jokes. So, here we are, on the cusp of a three day weekend, and I've got a handful of jokes for you.

Day 79, Friday January 8:

My emu looks very much like a furry duck.

The boy has never seen the Little Mermaid. I wasn't sure he would recognize this character, but he did. Still not entirely sure how he knows, but he knew Ariel's name as well.

Day 84, today:

The boy loved this one. Hope we were able to bring some smiles to you as well!

Days 77 and 78

 Sorry folks. Got a bit distracted yesterday. Can't imagine why...

This sweet, sleepy duck would have been a nice timeline cleanser yesterday.

The boy read this one and proudly declared that he got it. I love it when he appreciates my terrible puns.

Day 76

 Off to a better start this morning, which was nice. Stumbling back into this daily routine.

The boy liked this one too. But I have to say, drawing a dragonfly without wings was weird. It looks unfinished.

The first of 2021

 The first day of school was not welcomed here. The boy pouted all evening and was a delight this morning as well. At least he had the doodle to help perk him up.

Day 75:

He snorted and told me it was a good one, so the day wasn't a complete wash. Happy 2021 everyone!
